Working in association with Laybrook
The Chilterns Neuro Centre has formed a new association with Laybrook, a company with significant expertise in crafting high-quality adjustable furniture that can enhance the quality of life for people affected by MS, Parkinson’s and strokes.
As part of this association, Laybrook will support the Centre through joint initiatives, including fundraising events, awareness campaigns and product collaborations tailored to the unique needs of those the charity supports.
This association underscores Laybrook’s commitment to giving back to the community and aligns with its mission to improve the lives of people with mobility challenges.
Laybrook, based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, have been custom making specialist adjustable beds and mattresses since 2004.
They collaborate with occupational therapists to provide bed designs that can help improve patient comfort, facilitate therapy interventions, support functional recovery resulting in increased independence and quality of life.
Laybrook adjustable beds can also support caregivers by reducing the physical strain on caregivers, minimising the risk of injuries associated with manual patient handling.
Having an adjustable bed can help enhance sleep quality, aiding recovery and helping to alleviate symptoms from various conditions. It can improve blood circulation which contributes to faster healing and aids in maintaining healthy cardiovascular function.
