The NHS has a series of strength exercises are gentle and easy to do at home.  You can even download them as a PDF to your phone/computer/tablet.

These are nice exercises that you can build into your daily routine. You could allocate one exercise per room and each time you enter that room, do 5 reps of the exercise!
