What legacy will you leave behind?

Did you know that two-thirds of people over 55 have already made a Will? Why? Because it’s the best way to ensure everything you’ve worked so hard for goes exactly where you want it. If you haven’t got round to making one yet, or if it’s time to update an old one, we’ve got some great news for you.

Mark your calendar because November is Make a Will Month! During this special month, we’ve teamed up with some fantastic local solicitors who have kindly agreed to waive their fees in lieu of a donation to the Centre. Not only will you get a professionally drafted Will, you’ll also feel great knowing your donation will support people in your community affected by MS, Parkinson’s and strokes, helping them to live life to the full.

Have you ever heard of ‘Willanthropy? It’s the feel-good trend of leaving a gift to charity in your Will.

Of course, your loved ones come first, but there’s also a chance to leave a little something to causes you care about and, here’s the best part, gifts to charity are completely free from Inheritance Tax.

Whether it’s 1% of your estate, or more, or a specific sum, every bit helps.

For example, a £5,000 gift to the Centre in your Will could provide 80 one-to-one physio sessions. Imagine the difference that could make, helping people regain movement, confidence, and independence so they can live happier, healthier lives! Last year, generous gifts like these allowed us to offer 301 physio sessions to those in need.

So, why not join the growing number of people combining thoughtful planning with a touch of generosity? Your Will could be the key to not only securing your loved ones’ future but also spreading some real good in the world.

If you have already included a gift to the Centre in your Will or you’re planning to do so and you’re happy to let us know, please either email Terry Squire at terrysquire@chilternsneurocentre.org or call him on 01296 823040. Please do not hesitate to contact Terry If you have any questions about writing your Will or leaving the Centre a gift in your Will.

Thank you for your support.
