Jo is usually tucked in the office behind reception or in the café kitchen supporting our reception and café volunteers, she also runs our volunteer buddy scheme which has really taken off during the pandemic. Jo recruits and trains most new volunteers at the Centre and looks after our new members and assists with membership process. She oversees the admin team who deal with enquiries on the desk and over the phone for anything from referrals for new members to room hire for Oakwood.
Jo also looks after our Therapeutic Leisure Groups, including the Social Group, Angell Art Group and Boccia.
Jo has over 20 years experience mainly in the hospitality industry and hopes this will always help to give you a warm welcome to the Centre. She is available Tuesday to Friday mainly from 8.30am to 2.45pm.
