Facilities Hire
Do you need to hire a meeting room, treatment room or exercise space?
If you require additional space to run a meeting or workshop, or you need somewhere to hold a clinic, therapy session or exercise class, we have a number of suitable areas for hire through Oakwood Wellbeing.
Our modern, purpose-built building is located on the edge of Wendover Woods, in a popular estate in Wendover. We are always keen to offer new services to people in the local area. If you are a therapist, instructor or group leader why not use us as your Wendover base?
You can hire rooms from as little as one hour during weekday early mornings, evenings and weekends. Some of our private treatment rooms may also be available during the day. As well as room hire, you can also use our specialist equipment for an additional charge. We offer:
- Reception service during the week
- Competitive rates
- Clean, Covid-safe facilities with hand sanitising gel and antibacterial wipes in each room.
- Air purifiers in most rooms – these circulate the air in the room killing germs, allergens and viruses, including Covid-19, as the air is passed through UV filters.
- Fully accessible facilities people with different mobility issues. This include a lift and disabled toilets on each floor.
- Specialist equipment, such as Pilates equipment, treatment beds, hoists, shockwave therapy machine etc. available to hire
- Disabled parking as well as normal on-site parking
- Air conditioning
- Warm pool with disabled changing facilities, hoists, showers and graduated steps.
- Secure Wi-fi throughout the building
- Bright rooms with large windows – most looking out to the woods.
- Space on the Oakwood website to promote your services (clinical treatments and exercise classes only).

Available Facilities
Available to hire by qualified instructors. The recently-renovated pool is perfect for individual sessions or small groups that require a specialist pool to train or for Hydrotherapy treatments.
The pool is kept at a constant water temperature of 30 degrees Centigrade with a water depth of 1.2 metres. The pool floor is marked with squares which can be helpful to the hydro therapists taking a class. The pool steps are designed for easy access in and out of the pool. The pool also has an optional continuous flow, which allows a person to swim for long distances against the flow without requiring a large pool.
For Health & Safety purposes, there is a strict code of conduct for use which will be supplied on request.

- Two disabled changing rooms with showers (one of them can accommodate a shower changing bed on wheels)

- Hoists to lift people from the pool surround area into the pool and vice versa.

This room is designed for business meetings and can be set up in a theatre style (maximum capacity 25), classroom style or a boardroom style. Its dual aspect, looking out onto the woods, allows a lot of natural light to flood in.

Dimensions: Usable area is 6.6metres x 7.9 metres.
An open space which can be used as a meeting room or a gym for exercise classes. It has lots if natural light coming from the floor to ceiling windows.

A fully-fitted L-shaped Pilates studio with equipment and floor-to-ceiling wall mirrors.
Facilities:
- Pilates reformers (2)
- Pilates chair
- Pilates rings and balls
- Desk
A warm and friendly reception area with a high ceiling and ideal for welcoming guests before a presentation or event. The main kitchen is next to it and can be used if hired at the same time.

- 6 small round tables and armchairs which could be removed if required.

The light and airy treatment rooms are designed for professionals giving individual private consultations to their clients. Clients can either wait to be called in the Atrium or the upstairs waiting area located between the stairs/lift and the treatment rooms.

You can hire specialist equipment and facilities at additional cost when hiring one of our rooms.
These include:
- TV monitor & DVD
- Laptop
- Exercise equipment (bikes, treadmills, mats, balls etc.)
- Specialist treatment equipment (Shockwave machine, Pilates Reformers, hoists etc).
- Plus you can also hire our fully-fitted main kitchen for preparing light snacks and drinks (evenings and weekends only)
Oakwood Wellbeing is a company wholly owned by the Chilterns Neuro Centre and all money raised through the company is put back into the charity to help us achieve our vision that all people affected by MS, Parkinson’s and strokes can live life to the full.
