Hero Heather completes Three Peaks challenge in support of her Mum

Heather Ryan, from Bovingdon, took on the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales – one after another! – to raise money for the Centre where her mum is a member.

Having taken on a physically challenging task and completing 29hours straight (one peak after the other only resting  in a van!) of trekking, Heather so positively completed her mission and has so far raised over £2,000 for the Chilterns MS Centre!

Heather says:

“I want to physically and mentally push myself as I have grown up seeing my Mum do the same. My brother, Harvey and myself are so incredibly proud of her. If you know her you know how determined she is to never let this disease beat her. This comes at a cost, she pushes herself daily to not lose the use of her legs, she gets up, shows up, even when it hurts.”

We extend a huge thank you to Heather for completing this brilliant fundraiser, and hope she has inspired more of our community to step outside of their comfort zone to support their local MS Centre.

If you want to support Heather you can still donate to her sponsorship page.

If you would also like to raise money for the Centre you can visit our fundraising page to find out all of the ways that you can help to fund the charity, or you can email our fundraising team.
