MS Awareness Week

24th April 2023 - 30th April 2023

Blue banner with a speech bubble containing the text #MSMakesMe. There is a torch shining a light on the speech box. Additional text reads MS Awareness Week, 24-30 April, Shining a light on the impact of living with MS.

MS Awareness Week takes place from 24 to 30 April and we will be joining a new national #MSMakesMe campaign to get people talking about how MS makes them feel.

Nobody experiences MS in the same way, and living with the condition can bring up a range of constantly changing emotions. Sometimes people feel angry, scared or hopeless. At other times they may feel brave, resilient or strong.

To highlight this diversity, and to let others know they’re not alone, we invite you to join the campaign and help raise awareness about the emotional impact of living with MS – the good as well as the bad.

Keep an eye out for our social media posts during the week, with details of how you can join the conversation and share your experiences to help raise awareness.

For a start why not print out your own banner (we’ll also have some available at our reception), write on it how MS makes you feel, take a photo of you holding it and share the picture on social media (and don’t forget to tag us).
